Writing Has No Time Limit

Many people believe time is eternal, and in some respects it is. However, for those of us in the education world, we see time as the enemy.

I only have so much time to get my students prepared for the harsh realities of the real world. They must be able to push out essays in under forty minutes in order to save humanity. Oh, the curses of time!

As a writer, times slips by so quick sometimes that I can't wrap my brain around it. I have been working on a few stories for YEARS now. YEARS people! And yet, it feels just like yesterday I had the idea pop into my head.

And this is why my passion for writing will never cease. I can always pull those characters from my heart into my head and work with them. They have become old friends over the course of a few years, and comfort me when my day job becomes hectic, and I must, just must, make it through Crime and Punishment one more time.
