BOOK REVIEW: Unbelievable by Katy Tur

If I hadn't developed Labyrinthitis (it's a real condition--look it up!) last week, this book could have been the reason for my vertigo, and gazillion pills I take each day to keep the dizziness away.

Katy Tur is a fantastic writer and reporter, and my goodness, holy crap, the reporting that went into this story about being a lead reporter for the Donald Trump campaign is unbelievably amazing.

With her vivid descriptions of Trump's actions, his follower's reactions, and just the race in general, I was left reeling for what the future of our country may face during this time of great political divide.

Regardless of my political affiliation, reading about firsthand accounts Tur had on the campaign trail left me disgruntled from time to time; almost in denial that a political candidate's behavior could be so infuriating.

I recommend this book for anyone who wants to read a record of the life of a reporter for the Trump campaign. It is researched, had great notes, and provides intellectual commentary as needed.

However, I do NOT recommend the Labyrinthitis. While I'm on the mend from the infection, my brain is a bit groggy, and I'm a tad forgetful. In no way was this infection linked to my superficial keratectomy for Salzmann's nodular degeneration in October. It was a fluke, and one that I hope stays away! My ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) Team is amazing, and have helped with my rehabilitation.

NOTE: I bought and paid for the book on my own, and did not receive any compensation for this review.
